The Driver position at Core-Mark is a vital role, responsible for the safe, timely, and efficient delivery of food and food-related products. This role supports America’s food distribution system, ensuring consistent supply and customer satisfaction. It involves driving tractor-trailers or straight trucks on local, intrastate, interstate, and over-the-road (OTR) routes, including shuttle, overnight, and drive and drop routes. Drivers are expected to adhere strictly to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations while maintaining professional communication with customers, vendors, and co-workers. The position offers competitive pay, with drivers earning a guaranteed weekly pay of $1,300 plus bonus potential, with total earnings of up to $80,000 or more annually. Shifts operate Monday through Friday with dispatch times between 3:00 am and 6:00 am, providing a consistent schedule for employees.

Job Requirements
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent
- 12+ months tractor/trailer driving experience
- Valid CDL-A license
- Must be 21+ years of age
- Meet all state licensing and/or certification requirements where applicable
- Attains or has valid current DOT Health Card or able to secure new DOT Health Card
- Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout shift
Job Qualifications

- Able to hand-lift and utilize equipment such as two-wheelers and lift gates to move and stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight
Job Duties
- Performs all required safety checks including pre and post-trip inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to DOT regulations
- Reports all safety issues and repairs required, follows all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines
- Immediately reports all safety hazards, inspects trailer for properly loaded and secured freight
- Performs count check of items and checks customer invoices of loaded products
- Checks and completes all required paperwork associated with freight in an accurate and legible manner
- Moves tractor to loading dock and attaches preloaded trailer as needed
- Drives to and delivers customer orders according to predetermined route delivery schedule
- Unloads products from trailer and transports items into designated customer storage areas
- Performs damage control checks on items, scans, and contacts supervisor about removing orders
- Verifies delivery of items with customer and obtains proper signatures
- collects money where required
- Loads customer returns onto trailer and secures trailer doors
- Ensures that tractor, trailer, and freight are appropriately locked and secured
- Unloads damaged goods and customer returns, completes necessary paperwork
- Performs daily record of hours of service and enters logs per Federal DOT and company requirements
- Performs general housekeeping duties in tractor and loading dock area, secures equipment and completes paperwork at end of shift
- Performs other related duties as assigned
