As a Fortune 150 company, Core-Mark has established a strong foothold in fresh and broad-line solutions, catering to a diverse client base across the United States and Canada. With over $23 billion in revenue, the company prides itself on empowering customers, employees, and communities through reliable services, comprehensive product offerings, and innovative programs. Core-Mark's nationwide distribution centers play a critical role in supporting America’s food distribution system, ensuring that products reach retail locations efficiently and safely.

The role of a Driver at Core-Mark is pivotal to maintaining the seamless operation of its supply chain. Drivers are entrusted with the responsibility of operating tractor trailers or straight trucks to deliver and unload food and food-related products across intrastate and interstate routes. This position is designed for individuals who are committed to safety, efficiency, and superior customer service. Drivers at Core-Mark benefit from a competitive pay structure, including a minimum weekly earning of $1575, coupled with a Monday to Friday schedule without weekend work, providing a healthy work-life balance. The company also nurtures a safe and inclusive work environment that values rewards, recognition, and respect, fostering employee growth and satisfaction.

In this role, drivers will manage deliveries on various route types, including local, shuttle, and overnight drive and drop routes, all while adhering strictly to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies. The job requires meticulous attention to detail in performing pre and post-trip safety inspections, verifying freight security, and ensuring the accuracy of delivery records. Drivers also serve as important points of contact with customers, vendors, and coworkers, tasked with professional communication and problem-solving to enhance the customer experience. The Driver's duties extend beyond operating vehicles to include loading and unloading products, handling returns, damage assessments, and maintaining clean and organized working areas.

Core-Mark emphasizes growth opportunities for individuals who perform this essential work, recognizing the critical role drivers play in the broader logistics and retail landscape. Employees are provided with comprehensive benefits from day one, including health and wellness coverage, an employee stock purchase plan, 401K employer matching, education assistance, and paid time off. This position is ideal for professionals with a valid CDL-A license, at least six months of tractor-trailer driving experience, and a commitment to meeting or exceeding state and federal transportation standards. Core-Mark's inclusive culture supports all employees in achieving their potential and contributing to the company’s continued success.
