The Food and Food Service Delivery Driver at Core-Mark plays an essential role in the country’s food supply chain by ensuring timely, safe, and efficient delivery of products to customers. This position is vital not only for maintaining the integrity and quality of food distribution but also for representing the company as the face of service in customer interactions. Drivers are responsible for operating tractor-trailers or straight trucks on various routes including intrastate, interstate, over-the-road (OTR), shuttle, overnight, and drive and drop deliveries. They must comply with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company policies to ensure safety and operational excellence.

The role offers competitive compensation with a minimum bi-weekly pay of $2600, along with benefits such as day one health and wellness coverage, an employee stock purchase plan, 401K employer matching, education assistance, and paid time off. This is a full-time position with shifts running Monday to Friday, dispatching early in the morning between 3:00 am and 6:00 am. The driver is expected to perform pre-trip and post-trip safety checks, handle paperwork accurately, load and unload freight, conduct damage assessments, and maintain clean and organized equipment and delivery areas. Communication with customers, vendors, and coworkers is key to ensuring questions are promptly and accurately addressed, supporting positive customer relationships and operational success.
