Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- At least six months of tractor-trailer driving experience
- At least six months of foodservice or delivery-related experience
- Valid CDL-A license
- Must be 21 years or older
- Meet all state licensing and certification requirements
- Current or attainable DOT health card
- Ability to hand-lift and use two-wheeler, lift gate, and other equipment to move product cases ranging from 10 to 90 pounds

- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks with equipment assistance
Job Duties
- Perform all required safety checks including pre and post-trip inspections of tractor, truck, and trailer according to Department of Transportation regulations
- Inspect tractor, truck, and trailer to ensure compliance with company safety standards and take appropriate action
- Report safety issues and repairs promptly
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving policies
- Inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight
- Perform count checks of items and verify customer invoices
- Accurately complete all required paperwork associated with freight
- Move tractor to loading dock and attach preloaded trailers as needed
- Drive and deliver customer orders according to predetermined schedule
- Unload products and transport items to designated storage areas
- Perform damage checks and communicate with supervisors regarding order removals
- Verify delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures
- Collect payments when required
- Load customer returns and secure trailer doors
- Ensure tractor, trailer, and freight are appropriately locked and secured
- Unload damaged goods and customer returns, complete necessary paperwork
- Perform daily record of hours of service and maintain logs per Federal DOT, state, and company requirements
- Conduct general housekeeping duties in and around the tractor and loading dock
- Complete all necessary paperwork and secure equipment at shift end
- Perform other related duties as assigned
