The company prides itself on its stable, nationwide operations, industry-leading equipment, and commitment to safety and customer service. This ensures associates and their families benefit from a secure and rewarding work environment.
Penske Logistics is currently seeking full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers in Atlanta, Georgia, to join their professional and expanding team. This position offers an average annual salary of approximately $67,000 and features a home-daily schedule Monday through Friday, making it ideal for candidates seeking work-life balance. The role involves driving late-model trucks leased from Penske, which are equipped with best-in-class specifications for comfort and safety, including inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras. Drivers focus on delivering corrugated products locally, typically making around 10 stops per week. This no-touch, drop-and-hook operation eliminates manual freight handling, enhancing safety and efficiency.
As a Penske CDL Truck Driver, you will represent both Penske and the customers by providing outstanding service and maintaining a professional demeanor at all times. The company emphasizes employee well-being through a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid vacation and holidays from day one, robust retirement benefits, full medical, dental, and vision coverage, disability and life insurance offerings, company-provided uniforms, and employee discounts. Additionally, drivers are eligible for referral bonuses, safety incentives, and recognition programs to reward excellence.
Working with Penske means joining a team renowned for safety, clear communication, state-of-the-art equipment, and supportive management. Frequent training opportunities are available to advance your driving skills and career path, and with locations nationwide, opportunities to relocate are possible for interested associates. The company also prioritizes compliance with federal and state laws, requiring all drivers to hold a valid Class A CDL and meet medical and regulatory standards.
Overall, the Local Class A CDL Truck Driver role at Penske Logistics offers a stable, well-compensated career for professional drivers who value safety, customer service, and continuous growth in a respected logistics company.
