Job Description

Penske Logistics is a leading global transportation and logistics company known for engineering state-of-the-art transportation, warehousing, and freight management solutions. Established with a strong commitment to excellence and innovation, Penske supports market-leading companies by increasing supply chain visibility and reducing costs. Operating across multiple continents including North America, South America, Europe, and Asia, Penske Logistics is recognized for its reliable and efficient services that help businesses advance with confidence.

Penske is currently offering immediate full-time opportunities for Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers who are looking to advance their careers with a stable and reputable employer. This role offers an average annual salary of $81,000, along with a comprehensive benefits package designed to keep drivers and their families healthy, happy, and secure. Drivers for Penske primarily enjoy a home-daily schedule with the occasional possibility of layover routes, enabling a healthy work-life balance while providing the stability many drivers seek. Weekend work is required to meet service needs.

As a Penske Class A CDL Truck Driver, you will be responsible for managing approximately 20 weekly multi-stop deliveries to stores of a prominent coffee chain. Your duties include high-volume loading and unloading of coffee and milk products from a refrigerated trailer, using tools such as hand dollies and lift gates. Maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers is a critical aspect of the role, as is ensuring accuracy by scanning items during delivery. The delivery schedule typically starts early in the morning between 7:00 AM and 8:00 AM and operates on a 5-day work week with mandatory weekends.

You will have the advantage of driving late-model Penske trucks leased from Penske Truck Leasing. These vehicles are equipped with dual-zone reefer trailers for temperature control, automatic transmissions for ease of driving, and safety features such as inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras. This equipment is designed to enhance driver comfort and safety during every shift.

Penske prides itself on offering excellent benefits from day one, including paid vacation and holidays, generous retirement plans, top-tier medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as short and long-term disability insurance, life insurance, and AD&D coverage. Additional perks include company-provided uniforms, an employee discount program, and various incentive programs such as a driver referral bonus of up to $5,000, safety incentives, and a Premier Driver Recognition Program. These benefits make Penske a sought-after employer in the logistics industry.

If you are ready to fuel your career with a company that values its drivers and invests in their success, Penske offers extensive training opportunities and a nationwide network of locations that provide room for career growth and relocation flexibility. Joining Penske means more than just driving a truck; it means becoming part of a dedicated team that prioritizes safety, professionalism, and exceptional customer service.
