Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Class A CDL license
- Domiciled in and licensed in state of residence within the U.S.
- Hold or obtain non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
- Meet minimum documented tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to maintain clean driving record
- Compliance with federal and company safety standards
- English proficiency
- Ability to work required schedule and location
- Pass background investigation and drug screening
- Physical ability to perform job tasks including lifting up to 100 lbs
- Legal authorization to operate a motor vehicle
- Ability to maintain alertness and responsibility for safety
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license
- Documentation of 1 year tractor-trailer experience within last 3 years or 2 years within last 5 years
- Hold or ability to obtain non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
- Clean DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents in last 3 years
- English language proficiency
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Job Duties
- Operate late model Penske Truck Leasing trucks
- Follow dedicated route linehaul to Boyce, LA and back to Coppell, TX
- Ensure safety by using inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras
- Adhere to Monday through Friday schedule with 7:00 PM start time
- Maintain compliance with Department of Transportation regulations and company safety policies
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Communicate effectively with customers and management to provide excellent service
