Job Description
Penske Logistics is a global transportation and logistics company known for providing innovative and efficient supply chain solutions. Operating across North America, South America, Europe, and Asia, Penske Logistics specializes in state-of-the-art transportation, warehousing, and freight management. The company is highly regarded for its commitment to delivering powerful business results by enhancing visibility and reducing supply-chain costs for market-leading companies. With a strong reputation for operational excellence, Penske Logistics offers its employees a stable and professional environment where safety and customer service are prioritized.
This role is for a full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Driver based in Glendale, Arizona. The position offers an average annual salary of $73,476 and features a dedicated route that is local, allowing drivers to be home daily. The standard work schedule consists of a 5-day shift from Monday through Friday, with an average of 45 to 50 hours per week. Drivers dispatch at 7pm and typically make 25 to 40 stops per week performing multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships.
As a Class A CDL Truck Driver with Penske Logistics, you will be operating late-model, well-maintained Penske trucks. These trucks are designed with best-in-class specifications to ensure driver comfort and safety. They are also equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras to enhance safety for drivers and others on the road. Your duties will include unloading trailers using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages, scanning products as they are unloaded and delivered, and maintaining an alert and safe driving manner at all times.
The company offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes paid vacation and holidays starting day one, generous retirement benefits, excellent healthcare coverage including medical, dental, and vision, short and long-term disability coverage, life and AD&D insurance, and a driver referral bonus program offering up to $5,000 per referral. Additional benefits include company-provided uniforms and safety footwear, employee discount programs, a safety incentive program, and the Premier Driver Recognition Program.
Penske Logistics places a high emphasis on safety and professionalism. Applicants must have a valid Class A CDL, be domiciled in the U.S., hold or be able to obtain a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card, and have documented tractor-trailer experience. The company requires a clean driving record with minimal moving violations or accidents and English language proficiency. Background and drug screenings are mandatory as well as compliance with Department of Transportation regulations.
This full-time opportunity is ideal for those looking to advance their truck-driving career with a reputable, nationwide company that provides excellent equipment, great management, and regular pay every Friday. Home daily schedules and career development opportunities make this position attractive for professional truck drivers seeking stability and growth in the logistics industry.
