Job Description

Penske Logistics is a global leader in transportation, warehousing, and freight management solutions, providing innovative logistics services to some of the world’s most recognized brands. With operations spanning North America, South America, Europe, and Asia, Penske Logistics focuses on delivering powerful business results by increasing supply chain visibility and reducing costs for its customers. The company is widely respected for its commitment to safety, reliability, and exceptional customer service, making it a preferred employer for professionals seeking rewarding careers in the logistics and transportation industry. Penske Logistics is known for leveraging state-of-the-art technology and a customer-centric approach to manage freight efficiently and effectively in today's fast-paced market.

Penske Logistics is currently seeking dedicated Class A CDL Truck Drivers for full-time local positions based in Aurora, Colorado. This role offers an average annual salary of approximately $81,848, with drivers running dedicated routes that allow them to be home daily. Drivers will operate late-model trucks leased from Penske Truck Leasing, featuring best-in-class specifications designed to maximize driver comfort and safety. These trucks come equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras that enhance safety measures for both drivers and the public.

As a Penske Class A CDL Truck Driver, your primary responsibility will be to shuttle auto parts to Wyoming, making an average of five drop and hooks per week. The position involves handling no-touch freight, which means drivers are not responsible for physically loading or unloading freight, allowing focus on safe and efficient driving. Drivers must maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers, representing both Penske and its clients with integrity and dedication.

The work schedule is designed for work-life balance, consisting of a five-day workweek from Monday through Friday with two consecutive days off. Dispatch times typically begin at 3:30 PM, providing predictability that helps drivers manage their personal commitments. This local driving role means drivers return home each day, making it an excellent option for those who prefer to avoid long-haul journeys and extended time away from family.

Penske offers a comprehensive benefits package starting from day one, which includes paid vacation and holidays, generous retirement benefits, and excellent health care coverage encompassing medical, dental, and vision insurance. In addition, employees receive short and long-term disability coverage, life and accidental death and dismemberment insurance, and company-provided uniforms. Penske also supports drivers through an employee discount program, a driver referral bonus program offering up to $5,000 per referral, safety incentive programs, and a premier driver recognition program.

Joining Penske means becoming part of a stable, nationwide company known for its impeccable safety record, quality management, clear communication, and industry-leading equipment. With opportunities for career advancement and training, Penske fosters professional growth while ensuring its associates’ wellbeing. If you are a qualified Class A CDL driver looking for a rewarding and stable career, Penske invites you to put your career in high gear and join their team.
