This full-time position for local Class A CDL Truck Drivers is based in Avondale, Arizona, under the Penske Logistics branch. The average annual salary for this role is approximately $88,600. Candidates will enjoy the benefit of mostly being home daily, with occasional opportunities for layover routes, offering a balance of work and personal time. Truck drivers for Penske Logistics will be responsible for executing around 75 multi-stop weekly deliveries for a major coffee chain. This involves high-volume loading and unloading using hand dollies and lift gates from temperature-controlled refrigerated trailers, specifically dual zone reefer trailers, emphasizing product quality. The equipment used is late model Penske leased trucks fitted with automatic transmissions and inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras, providing comfort and enhanced safety measures.
