This role offers an immediate opportunity for full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers based in Logan Township, New Jersey. Offering an average annual salary of $120,000, this position involves local deliveries with drivers returning home daily, which ensures a better work-life balance. The schedule consists of a five-day workweek with two consecutive days off, including weekend work, and operates on a PM dispatch schedule. Drivers will be operating late model Penske Truck Leasing trucks specifically designed with the best-in-class specifications to ensure driver comfort and safety. The vehicles are equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras to promote overall safety during routes.
As a Local Class A CDL Truck Driver for Penske, your primary responsibilities will involve making multiple stop deliveries to one of the most respected convenience store chains in the Mid-Atlantic region, known for its exceptional customer service and built-to-order foods. At each stop, drivers will unload trailers and restock bakery items in stores while providing outstanding customer service. This position notably avoids driving within New York City, offering a less stressful driving environment. The role demands a high level of responsibility, including adherence to federal and state laws, regulations, and company standards. Candidates must be able to maintain regular, predictable attendance and work a schedule that may require weekends.

Job Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Must be domiciled in the U.S. and licensed in state of residence
- Hold or ability to obtain non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
- 1 year documented tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years or 2 years in last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- Follow all federal and state laws and regulations
- Regular, predictable, full attendance
- English language proficiency
- Complete Penske employment application
- Pass background investigation and drug screening
- Ability to work in constant alertness and safely
- Ability to accept responsibility for own and others safety
