Operating across North America, South America, Europe, and Asia, Penske Logistics provides state-of-the-art services designed to increase visibility, improve efficiency, and reduce supply chain costs. With a commitment to quality, safety, and professionalism, Penske is a trusted partner for businesses that depend on reliable logistics and transportation services.
Penske Logistics is currently seeking Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers to join their team at their Chandler, Arizona location. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a nationwide company that offers exceptional training programs, career advancement opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package. Drivers at Penske operate late-model trucks leased from Penske Truck Leasing, known for their superior comfort, safety specifications, and equipped with inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras to ensure safety for all. One of the key benefits of this role is that drivers can expect to be home daily, helping maintain a healthy work-life balance.
In this role, the driver will be responsible for delivering medical supplies to hospitals, clinics, and surgical centers, supporting patient care and healthcare providers in their communities. The position requires flexibility in scheduling to meet the needs of these essential customers. Drivers will maintain a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers and consistently adhere to all federal, state, and company regulations. The employer places a strong emphasis on safety, responsibility, and compliance with transportation laws.
Candidates must hold a valid Class A CDL with a Hazmat endorsement and meet medical qualifications. The role demands 1 to 2 years of recent tractor-trailer experience, a clean driving record, and proficiency in English to ensure compliance with federal regulations. In addition to operational responsibilities, the position requires physical capability to frequently move, lift, and operate vehicles safely and efficiently.
Penske Logistics offers a competitive pay rate starting at $31.82 per hour with overtime pay for hours worked beyond 40 per week. The benefits package includes excellent health care coverage (medical, dental, and vision), paid vacation and holidays from day one, generous retirement benefits, disability insurance, life and AD&D insurance, company-provided uniforms and safety footwear, employee discount programs, and attractive driver referral and safety incentive programs. Drivers are part of a Premier Driver Recognition Program that rewards outstanding performance.
Penske is recognized for its excellent management, communication, safety standards, and the quality of equipment supplied to their drivers. Employees appreciate the dependable weekly pay and the opportunity to relocate across the company's many nationwide locations. Penske promotes diversity and equal employment opportunities and supports accommodations for individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions. This role is integral not only for ensuring timely and safe delivery of critical medical supplies but also for advancing a rewarding driving career with a respected and stable transportation company.
