Job Description
Penske Logistics is a globally recognized leader in transportation, warehousing, and freight management solutions, serving some of the world's top brands. With operations spanning North America, South America, Europe, and Asia, Penske Logistics has earned a reputation for delivering powerful business results by increasing visibility and reducing supply-chain costs for its clients. The company is known not only for its extensive network and cutting-edge technology but also for its commitment to safety, quality service, and employee satisfaction. Penske provides a comprehensive and supportive work environment that fosters career growth and operational excellence.
This full-time opportunity is targeted at Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers who are ready to advance their careers by joining a stable and nationwide company that prioritizes the safety, health, and well-being of its team members. Penske offers competitive hourly pay of $27.06, with overtime available after 40 hours. Drivers enjoy the benefit of being home daily, a significant advantage for work-life balance. The company’s fleet consists of late model Penske Truck Leasing trucks equipped with best-in-class specifications designed for driver comfort, including both inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras to ensure safety on the road.
The role involves delivering critical medical supplies to hospitals, clinics, and surgical centers, contributing directly to patient care by ensuring the timely and safe transport of essential products. Drivers are responsible for unloading trailers using pallet jacks, plastic totes, carts, and lift gates. Given the essential nature of the cargo and the need for precision handling, this position requires a dedicated professional attentive to safety and customer service. Penske expects its drivers to be fully flexible in scheduling, available to work any shifts as required by business needs, including weekends.
In addition to competitive pay, Penske offers a robust benefits package starting day one, including paid vacation and holidays, generous retirement benefits, and excellent medical, dental, and vision coverage. Additional perks include short and long-term disability insurance, life and accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance, company-provided uniforms, an employee discount program, driver referral bonuses up to $5,000, a safety incentive program, and a premier driver recognition program. These benefits are designed to keep associates and their families healthy, secure, and motivated.
Penske Logistics is more than just a trucking company — it’s a community of professionals dedicated to delivering exceptional service while fostering a fulfilling and sustainable career path for its drivers. With widespread locations, ongoing training and development opportunities, and a steadfast commitment to safety and communication, Penske offers an environment where drivers can truly thrive. Applying for this position means becoming part of a team that values integrity, reliability, and professionalism, with the support and resources needed to propel a truck-driving career forward.
