Job Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL license
- US domicile and state license
- Non-excepted interstate DOT medical card
- Minimum 1-2 years tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record with limited violations
- English proficiency
- Full compliance with schedule and application process
- Ability to maintain safety awareness
- Pass background and drug screening
- Physical ability to see, hear, lift up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 100 lbs
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle safely and enter/exit vehicle and cargo area frequently
Job Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL required
- Applicants must be domiciled in the US and licensed in their state of residence
- Currently hold, or ability to obtain, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card required
- 1 year of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 3 years required, or 2 years of documented tractor-trailer experience in the last 5 years
- 3 years DMV/MVR record with two or fewer moving violations or accidents
- English language proficiency
- Ability to work the required schedule, location, complete application, background, and drug screening
- Ability to work safely and stay alert at all times
Job Duties
- Perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships
- Unload trailer using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages
- Use scanner to scan products as they are unloaded and delivered
- Follow dedicated routes with approximately 10 stops per route
- Operate late model, Penske maintained trucks with best-in-class safety features
- Maintain compliance with all DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Provide exceptional customer service and represent Penske and its clients professionally
