With a strong focus on safety, technology, and customer service, Penske delivers state-of-the-art solutions supported by a dedicated team of professional associates. They provide excellent training opportunities and maintain a culture that values stability, clear communication, and employee well-being. Their equipment and operations are designed to set industry standards, making Penske a trusted name for clients worldwide.

This full-time position for Local Class A CDL Truck Drivers is based in Amarillo, TX, under Penske Logistics LLC. The role is designed to offer drivers steady work with the benefit of being home daily, a Monday through Friday schedule, and competitive compensation averaging $83,000 annually. Drivers will be responsible for multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies mainly to automotive dealerships using late-model, Penske-maintained trucks equipped with best-in-class comfort and safety features, including inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras. The job involves operating vehicles with modern equipment designed for driver safety and comfort, providing an excellent working environment.

As a Local Class A CDL Truck Driver, you will perform essential delivery tasks such as unloading trailers manually, using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages, scanning products with a scanner as you unload and deliver, and maintaining compliance with safety regulations. You'll adhere to a schedule that dispatches at 8:45 PM but returns you home daily. The role requires excellent customer service as you represent both Penske and its clients, often driving client-branded trucks and wearing client uniforms, establishing strong relationships by providing exceptional service. This fosters not only efficiency but a rewarding connectivity to the community and businesses served.

The benefits package at Penske Logistics is comprehensive and designed to support drivers and their families. It includes paid vacation and holidays from day one, generous retirement benefits, extensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, and disability and life insurance options. Employees receive company-provided uniforms and safety footwear, access to an employee discount program, and various incentive and recognition programs including a driver referral bonus up to $5000 per referral and safety incentive rewards. Penske prioritizes its employees' health, safety, and professional growth, providing opportunities for training and career advancement. The company's commitment to excellence and stability makes it an ideal choice for professional drivers looking to build a long-term career in logistics.
