Job Requirements

  • Class A CDL and a good motor vehicle report or ability to obtain Class A CDL
  • Haz-Mat and tanker endorsements (can be obtained during training)
  • Medical examiner certificate from a company-approved examiner
  • Ability to pass physical ability test
  • Ability to read, speak, and comprehend English
  • Safety-first mindset

Job Qualifications

  • Class A CDL or ability to obtain Class A CDL
  • Haz-Mat and tanker endorsements or willingness to obtain during training
  • Medical examiner certificate from a company-approved examiner
  • Ability to pass the physical ability test
  • Ability to read, speak, and comprehend English
  • Safety-first mindset
  • Six months of over-the-road experience or graduate of approved truck driver training school
  • High school diploma or GED

Job Duties

  • Safely and efficiently operate DTI equipment to transport product
  • Comply with all legal and regulatory requirements set by Department of Transportation and Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration
  • Load and unload dry and temperature-controlled goods except for no-touch freight
  • Meet established company goals including managing miles per gallon, fuel purchases, idle time, and speed
  • Read and understand DTI load paperwork and product and packaging descriptions
  • Identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position
