The role of Crew Chief at The Lime Truck is a pivotal leadership position responsible for commanding the entire food truck during shifts that include preparation, service, and closeout. Key responsibilities include assigning stations, ensuring the speed and quality of operations, protecting the guest experience, maintaining cleanliness and presentation, and making decisions under pressure. Safety is also paramount as the role involves driving the truck safely to and from events. Job Requirements

  • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food service or catering
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
  • Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced, high-energy work environment

Job Qualifications

  • Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced food service environment
  • Ability to manage and motivate a team effectively
  • Strong decision-making skills under pressure
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and cleanliness standards
