Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout shifts
  • Capability to bend, lift, and carry up to 30 pounds
  • Comfortable with frequent face-to-face interaction with crew members and customers
  • Capacity to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to multitask and maintain a positive demeanor under stress
  • Frequent walking, standing, bending, stopping, overhead reaching and stretching
  • Lifting up to 50 pounds
  • Willingness to adhere to company policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food service or hospitality preferred
  • Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and late nights
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic math skills for cash handling
  • Ability to follow instructions and maintain cleanliness standards
  • Positive attitude and enthusiasm for customer service

Job Duties

  • Interacts with team members, customers, and vendors using DYNE's core values
  • Delivers unparalleled hospitality to each customer that visits the cafe
  • Prepares ingredients for food and smoothies
  • Assembles and serves fresh food and smoothies prepared to Tropical Smoothie Cafe's standards
  • Uses sanitation practices to handle and prepare food
  • Sets up and monitors food and smoothie work stations
  • Cleans and organizes kitchen, workstations, dining room, restrooms, and other cafe areas
  • Follows steps to operate the register including taking customer orders, accurately handling cash, and managing the drawer
  • Follows all safety and security policies set by the brand
  • Performs additional tasks necessary to run the cafe
