Job Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk continuously during each shift
- Capable of bending, lifting, and carrying up to 30 pounds
- Comfortable with frequent face-to-face interactions with crew and customers
- Ability to navigate safely in a fast-paced environment
- Capable of multitasking and remaining positive under pressure
- Frequent walking, standing, bending, stopping, reaching, and stretching
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is a plus but not required
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Basic math skills for handling cash register operations
- Commitment to upholding health and safety standards
Job Duties
- Interacts with team members, customers, and vendors using DYNE's core values
- Delivers unparalleled hospitality to each customer that visits the cafe
- Prepares ingredients for food and smoothies
- Assembles and serves fresh food and smoothies prepared to Tropical Smoothie Cafe’s standards
- Uses sanitation practices to handle and prepare food
- Sets up and monitors food and smoothie work stations
- Cleans and organizes kitchen, workstations, dining room, restrooms, and other cafe areas
- Operates the register including taking orders, handling cash, and managing the drawer
- Follows all safety and security policies
- Performs additional tasks necessary to run the cafe
