Job Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk continuously throughout shifts
- capable of bending, lifting, and carrying up to 30 pounds
- able to interact face-to-face with team members and customers
- capacity to work in a fast-paced cafe environment
- ability to multitask under pressure
- frequent walking, standing, bending, stopping, overhead reaching, and stretching
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds safely
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- experience in food service or hospitality is beneficial
- ability to work flexible hours
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- basic math skills for operating the register
- capable of multitasking and maintaining a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment
Job Duties
- Interacts with team members, customers, and vendors using DYNE's core values
- delivers unparalleled hospitality to each customer that visits the cafe
- prepares ingredients for food and smoothies
- assembles and serves fresh food and smoothies prepared to Tropical Smoothie Cafe's standards
- uses sanitation practices to handle and prepare food
- sets up and monitors food and smoothie work stations
- cleans and organizes kitchen, workstations, dining room, restrooms, and other areas in the cafe
- operates the register including taking customer orders, handling cash, and managing the drawer
- follows safety and security policies set by the brand
- performs additional tasks necessary to run the cafe
