Job Requirements
- Continuous standing and walking throughout shifts
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Comfortable with bending, reaching overhead, and performing physical tasks
- Ability to interact face-to-face with customers and team members
- Capability to multi-task and stay positive under stress
- Availability for flexible scheduling including early mornings and late evenings
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in food service or hospitality is beneficial but not required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and late nights
- Commitment to delivering excellent customer service
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and follow sanitation standards
- Capacity to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions
Job Duties
- Interacts with team members, customers, and vendors using DYNE's core values
- Delivers unparalleled hospitality to each customer that visits the cafe
- Prepares ingredients for food and smoothies
- Assembles and serves fresh food and smoothies prepared to Tropical Smoothie Cafe's standards
- Uses sanitation practices to handle and prepare food
- Sets up and monitors food and smoothie work stations
- Cleans and organizes kitchen, workstations, dining room, restrooms, and other cafe areas
- Follows steps to operate the register including taking orders and handling cash accurately
- Follows all safety and security policies set by the brand
- Performs additional tasks necessary to run the cafe
