Job Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk continuously during shifts
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Capability to perform face-to-face interactions with team members and customers
- Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings and late evenings
- Strong multitasking skills and ability to stay positive under pressure
- Commitment to following food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Ability to navigate safely in a fast-paced cafe environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in food service or customer service is advantageous
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain quality standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and procedures
Job Duties
- Interacts with team members, customers, and vendors using DYNE's core values
- Delivers unparalleled hospitality to each customer that visits the cafe
- Prepares ingredients for food and smoothies
- Assembles and serves fresh food and smoothies prepared to Tropical Smoothie Cafe's standards
- Uses sanitation practices to handle and prepare food
- Sets up and monitors food and smoothie work stations
- Cleans and organizes kitchen, workstations, dining room, restrooms, and other cafe areas
- Operates the register including taking customer orders, handling cash, and managing the cash drawer
- Follows all safety and security policies set by the brand
- Performs additional tasks necessary to run the cafe
