Job Description
DYNE Hospitality Group is a distinguished company specializing in the operation of a variety of cafes under its brand umbrella. Known for fostering a robust and dynamic culture, DYNE Hospitality Group emphasizes four core values that permeate every aspect of its business operations: Invest In People, Understand Why, Make Smart Decisions, and Make It Happen. These core values are prominently displayed across its cafes and serve as guiding principles for hiring, promotions, team member reviews, performance assessments, and communication. The company is deeply committed to creating an engaging and supportive work environment that prioritizes team member development, operational excellence, and unparalleled customer hospitality.
The role of Assistant Store Manager at DYNE Hospitality Group, specifically located at 7460 S Olympia Ave, Tulsa, OK 74132, is a critical leadership position that reports directly to the General Manager. Classified as an hourly non-exempt position, the Assistant Store Manager must be flexible with their working hours, which may begin as early as 5 a.m. or extend until midnight, depending on the cafe’s schedule. The position supports operational efficiencies across multiple cafes, providing essential backup and leadership in the absence or transition of General Managers, as well as assisting in the launch of new cafes and the implementation of comprehensive training programs.
This role demands a proactive individual who can drive brand values and standards, coach and develop both management and crew members, and maintain the highest levels of operational standards. The Assistant Store Manager plays an integral part in staffing, training, inventory management, and ensuring each station within the cafe functions optimally according to Tropical Smoothie Cafe's stringent standards. The job requires hands-on management, including a deep proficiency in all cafe positions and a commitment to delivering unmatched hospitality to every customer.
This position is ideal for a candidate with a high school diploma and a minimum of two years of progressive restaurant experience, preferably with supervisory responsibilities. The role necessitates strong verbal and written communication skills, solid management abilities, and a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. Candidates must demonstrate mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving acumen, alongside the ability to learn new computer software rapidly. Physical stamina is essential, as the role involves continuous standing, walking, bending, lifting, and interacting face-to-face with crew and customers in a fast-paced, upbeat environment that values safety and positivity.
DYNE Hospitality Group offers competitive wages and a comprehensive benefits package, coupled with promising long-term career growth opportunities. The company nurtures an inclusive and equitable workplace, upholding equal employment opportunities regardless of race, color, sex, sexual orientation, religion, creed, age, national origin, disability, gender identity, marital status, veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristic. By joining DYNE Hospitality Group as an Assistant Store Manager, individuals become part of a vibrant culture focused on people, purpose, and performance, all while contributing significantly to the success of multiple cafe locations.
