The Restaurant Manager role at Founders Club at St James is a full-time position offering a competitive salary range from $52,000 to $57,000. The Restaurant Manager acts as a pivotal member of the management team, applying their extensive knowledge and experience in food and beverage management to supervise day-to-day operational activities, enhance customer satisfaction, and drive sales through innovative marketing and service strategies.

The role includes managing staff development, coordinating special events, maintaining health and safety compliance, and ensuring quality assurance across the restaurant operations. The Restaurant Manager also collaborates closely with the Food & Beverage Director, assisting with event sales and implementing cost control measures, including monthly inventory management. Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Daily management of restaurant operations
  • organizes and conducts pre-shift meetings to review specials, menu changes, house counts
  • assist Food & Beverage Director with event sales
  • greets guests at tables to ensure complete customer satisfaction attention to guest needs
  • supervises and develops servers, bartender, host/hostess, and other employees in the restaurant
  • oversees daily restaurant activities to include serving tables, bussing tables, seating guests, and general clerical/cashier duties
  • conduct training and refresher classes for all restaurant employees in the correct procedures
  • maintaining cost controls and conducting a monthly inventory
  • implement and maintain restaurant sales/marketing programs
  • quality assurance, guest service and training of all restaurant employees
  • responsible for overall guest satisfaction
  • ensure all employees are conducting themselves in a professional manner
  • perform daily walk-through to ensure full compliance with the Department of Health regulations
  • complies with applicable health, alcoholic beverage, fire, and other local/state laws
  • closing procedures and appropriate cash handling practices
  • perform other duties as assigned by the Food & Beverage Director
