The company places high importance on fostering an inclusive, energized, and impactful culture, welcoming food enthusiasts who are passionate about making a difference in the food industry. With a commitment to innovation, Conagra Brands continuously explores new solutions that positively affect their workforce, the communities they serve, and the environment, supporting the health and sustainability of the planet. Their inclusive approach ensures equal opportunity employment without discrimination based on sex, race, ethnicity, gender identity, disability, veteran status, or any other legally protected characteristic. Reasonable accommodations are made to support employees' needs, reinforcing their dedication to a supportive workplace environment.
This role is an hourly position working the 4:00 PM to 2:00 AM shift, offering a competitive pay rate of $22.47 per hour plus an additional $1.50 shift differential. The position is located in Troy, Ohio, and demands a strong commitment to safety as the number one priority, adhering strictly to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and USDA guidelines. Core responsibilities include properly mixing trolley wash chemicals, maintaining the cleanliness of trolleys, rods, and rod baskets, and accurately completing daily required paperwork according to quality standards. The role requires participating in ongoing training development, supporting multiple CPS (Continuous Process Safety) activities like Safety, Quality, BOS, 5S, Centerline, and Equipment Ownership. Candidates must have good math skills and reading comprehension to track and follow blend requirements effectively.
Physical demands include frequent bending, lifting up to 35 lbs to rack height, pushing, pulling, and working in wet, steamy, and humid environments, reflecting a hands-on role involving trolley washing in a production setting. The position requires flexibility to work overtime and weekends as necessary and includes responsibilities for SAP documentation and adhering to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) protocols specific to the workspace. This job offers excellent benefits including health insurance, dental, vision, paid-time off, financial wellness programs, and career growth opportunities, emphasizing Conagra's commitment to employee well-being, wealth, and work-life balance. This role is ideal for candidates who thrive in a team-oriented, safety-first culture within a nationally recognized food company dedicated to quality and sustainability.
