The position of TR/Manager - Catering & Conference Services at Tulalip Resort Casino is a full-time role focused on managing all catering and conference sales along with related marketing functions within the resort and casino. The hourly rate for this position is $33.56, reflecting the importance of the role in enhancing the overall guest experience and driving revenue through successful event management. The manager will play a crucial role in coordinating and overseeing catering services and conference events, ensuring smooth operations from planning to execution. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or GED required
  • two year degree in business, finance, or related field preferred, experience may be considered in lieu of education
  • minimum three years experience in catering and conference services in hospitality
  • minimum four years experience selling, planning, and negotiating catering and banquet events or conferences
  • minimum one year experience in budget planning and implementation
  • ability to compose routine correspondence in English
  • ability to analyze and interpret financial data
  • must adhere to strict confidentiality
  • must travel as required
  • must complete background investigation
  • must obtain hotel permit per Tulalip Gaming Agency Regulation 12
  • must work any assigned shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • successful employment history with Tulalip Tribes or other employers required

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or GED
  • two year degree in business, finance, or related field preferred
  • minimum three years experience in catering and conference services
  • minimum four years experience in selling, planning, and negotiating events
  • strong math and analytical skills
  • ability to compose routine correspondence
  • prior northwest market sales experience preferred
  • prior high volume sales or banquet experience preferred
