The Superintendent 2 position is a critical role within JE Dunn Construction. This role involves planning, managing, and executing all facets of assigned construction projects that may have moderate complexity. The Superintendent 2 will oversee material and equipment management, provide support in people management, ensure complete and accurate project documentation, and ultimately contribute to the timely and profitable completion of projects. The Superintendent 2 will lead subcontractor management, organize overall job workflows, and coordinate safety, quality, and equal employment opportunity programs on site. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- 5+ years construction experience
- 3+ years field supervision experience
- preferred bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field
- preferred experience with Lean principles

Job Duties
- Lead safety culture and mentor for an injury-free environment
- manage subcontractors and organize overall job workflow
- oversee company staff, subcontractors, suppliers, and safety, quality, and EEO programs
- develop work plans for subcontractors and self-performed work
- coordinate care, custody, and control of the project site
- lead daily standup and weekly trade meetings
- attend and participate in project progress and OAC meetings
- create and manage project schedules in conjunction with the Project Manager
- track and monitor project budgets and costs
