The Traveling Sous Chef / Executive Chef at Bonaventure Senior Living plays a vital role in maintaining the culinary excellence that the company prides itself on. Job Requirements

  • culinary school diploma or bachelor’s degree in hospitality
  • 3+ years of experience managing dining services
  • experience managing budgets
  • proficiency in reading and writing English
  • computer proficiency including Microsoft office and ordering software
  • ability to pass criminal background check and drug test
  • must be over the age of 21

Job Duties

  • Oversee kitchen and wait staff while managing budget and inventory
  • recruit and maintain kitchen staff
  • lead and inspire excellent customer service for residents
  • ensure meals are served with appetizing and attractive presentation
  • create and maintain the schedule for the dining services team
  • maintain a clean and organized kitchen and dining room
  • plan and direct all food preparation and service in accordance with Bonaventure Senior Living standards
  • adhere to all state and federal regulations for long-term care communities
  • handle event planning for special events
  • collaborate with health services to provide dining support for residents with specific dietary needs
