The role of Traveling Receptionist is based in Sacramento, CA, and includes travel to surrounding clinics. This position offers paid travel time and mileage reimbursement, reflecting the company’s recognition of the travel commitment required. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM PST, with some schedule flexibility needed for occasional early mornings, late afternoons, and some Saturdays. As a Traveling Receptionist, you will serve as the welcoming face of multiple clinic locations, playing a key role in daily operations and patient interactions. Your responsibilities will include greeting and checking in patients with professionalism and warmth, answering and directing phone calls, preparing charts and paperwork, escorting patients to exam rooms, and maintaining a clean and organized lobby area. Additionally, you will support clinic physicians and staff, monitor workflows to ensure appointments stay on schedule, assist the Clinic Director with administrative tasks, and participate in training and professional development activities. This position provides a dynamic and varied work experience where no two days are exactly the same, offering candidates hands-on involvement in a professional healthcare setting with real responsibilities.
