The role of Traveling Patient Services Manager at Jefferson Health System, offered through Aramark Healthcare, presents a unique opportunity to contribute directly to patient experiences through exceptional food and nutrition services. This position entails managing the Patient Services Operation within the Food & Nutrition Department, overseeing the development and execution of dining solutions tailored to meet specific patient dietary needs and preferences. The Patient Services Manager plays a critical role in interpreting and implementing government-mandated nutritional standards, ensuring patients receive healthy, balanced meals that comply with healthcare regulations. Additionally, this role involves technical expertise in nutrition and foodservice management as well as supervisory duties such as leading patient service staff, monitoring meal preparation and delivery, and overseeing safety and sanitation compliance.
In this capacity, the Patient Services Manager leads efforts to ensure the highest standards of patient satisfaction and food quality, supervising the tray line operations, room service programs, and managing the diet office and service ambassador initiatives. Job Requirements
- At least 1-2 year experience in a food service supervisor or management role
- bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- healthcare patient services management experience preferred
- experience managing, motivating and engaging a large workforce
- proficiency with Microsoft Office programs
- excellent interpersonal, customer services and organizational skills
- nutrition education and/or background preferred
- SERV Safe Certification is a plus
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 1-2 years experience in a food service supervisor or management role
- healthcare patient services management experience preferred
