The role of Traveling Executive Chef at Bonaventure Senior Living is a dynamic and highly responsible position integral to the success of multiple senior living communities. As a Traveling Executive Chef, you will oversee culinary staff and dining services departments across various locations, ensuring the delivery of outstanding dining experiences for residents. This role involves managing kitchen and wait staff, budgeting, inventory control, and recruitment, all while maintaining the highest standards of food quality and presentation. The Executive Chef will also be responsible for event planning, keeping kitchens clean and organized, and collaborating with health services to support dietary requirements that address residents' specific health needs. Job Requirements

  • culinary school diploma or bachelor’s degree in hospitality
  • 3+ years of experience managing dining services in restaurants, banquets, or long-term care settings
  • experience managing budgets
  • proficient in reading and writing English
  • able to pass criminal background check and drug test
  • computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and ordering software
  • must be over the age of 21
