Job Description

Winston Resources is a distinguished leader in the healthcare staffing industry, having been established since 1967. Over the decades, it has built a strong reputation for providing exceptional staffing solutions to healthcare providers and professionals across the United States. As a company deeply committed to the needs of the healthcare sector, Winston Resources understands the rapidly evolving nature of travel healthcare, shaped by factors such as staffing shortages, pandemics, and an aging population. This dynamic landscape calls for a reliable partner that healthcare professionals can trust to offer rewarding travel opportunities while supporting their career growth. Winston Resources prides itself on being that trusted partner, offering unmatched support and opportunities for travel nurses who seek to advance their careers in critical care and other specialized fields.

This particular opportunity is for a Travel Nurse Registered Nurse (RN) Critical Care Float position in Worcester, Massachusetts. This role is an exciting 13-week travel nursing contract starting on August 12, 2026, with a commitment of 48 hours per week working night shifts of 12 hours each. The position requires the nurse to float within the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), providing skilled nursing care to critically ill patients, supporting the fluctuating needs of the unit, and ensuring high standards of care during nighttime hours.

The travel nurse will be expected to have at least two years of recent ICU experience and must possess an active and unencumbered state nursing license or participate in the Nurse Licensure Compact if applicable. This role is specifically for nurses who are not local to the Worcester area, which ensures that the travel assignment aligns with the goals of broadening clinical experience and exploring new professional environments. The pay package for this role is based on the 12-hour shifts and 48-hour workweeks, with the potential for additional tax-free stipends to be confirmed upon contract finalization.

The ideal candidate will thrive in the fast-paced and demanding environment of critical care nursing, demonstrating adaptability, critical thinking, and strong clinical skills. As a travel nurse with Winston Resources, you will experience the 'Winston Difference,' which emphasizes collaboration, professional support, and a commitment to helping you navigate your career's next steps. The company’s recruiters are enthusiastic about connecting with passionate healthcare professionals ready to make a meaningful impact while enjoying the benefits of travel and diverse clinical assignments.

Choosing Winston Resources means becoming part of a network dedicated to facilitating career advancement while providing excellent benefits and support. The company recognizes the contributions of traveling healthcare professionals and continuously works to create opportunities that meet both the professional and personal needs of its nurses. This role offers a unique blend of professional challenge and the chance to explore new locations, making it an excellent opportunity for ICU RNs who enjoy working across different facilities and are looking for a flexible and rewarding career path in travel nursing.
