Job Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of telemetry registered nurse experience
  • Recent surgical cardiac telemetry experience required
  • Previous travel registered nurse experience required
  • BLS certification (AHA)
  • ACLS certification (AHA)
  • NIHSS certification
  • Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
  • Commitment to high-quality patient care
  • Eligible for travel nursing assignments

Job Qualifications

  • Registered nurse with active state license
  • Minimum 3 years of telemetry nursing experience
  • Recent surgical cardiac telemetry experience
  • Previous travel nursing experience
  • Certified in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Experience with high-acuity telemetry patients
  • Ability to work night shifts effectively

Job Duties

  • Provide advanced telemetry monitoring and care for post-operative cardiac and vascular patients
  • Interpret cardiac dysrhythmias and initiate appropriate interventions
  • Manage chest tubes, tracheostomy care, and respiratory support including CPAP and BiPAP
  • Respond rapidly to patient emergencies and changes in condition
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to plan and implement patient care
  • Document and communicate patient status accurately
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare safety and quality standards
