This particular role is for a Travel Sales Agent based in the United States working remotely. The Travel Sales Agent will be part of a dynamic team that is passionate about travel and devoted to providing clients with personalized, impactful vacation planning and booking services. As a Travel Sales Agent with World Travel Holdings, candidates will have the opportunity to leverage their sales skills and love for travel to build meaningful relationships with customers by offering expert recommendations on vacation packages, cruises, and other travel arrangements. This position offers a full-time remote work schedule, which provides flexible working hours post-training, making it ideal for motivated self-starters who thrive in a virtual setting.
The Sales Agent will be involved in multiple aspects of customer engagement, including responding to inbound travel inquiries, delivering personalized travel solutions, processing reservations, and managing booking modifications with efficiency and accuracy. Success in this role is driven by the ability to meet and exceed sales goals while consistently maintaining excellent customer service standards through a service methodology called Customer Connection. This involves engaging customers with empathy, professionalism, and using CRM tools effectively. New hires benefit from a structured onboarding experience involving a six-week paid training program that equips them with all the necessary knowledge and skills to excel. Post-training, agents are expected to work shifts that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays, providing comprehensive service coverage to a national customer base.
Compensation for this role includes a base pay of $15 per hour during training with the potential to earn around $40,000 in the first year, depending on performance. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of sales experience
- Proficient in using CRM and communication tools
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
- Access to a private, distraction-free workspace
- Reliable high-speed internet connection
Job Qualifications
- At least 1 year in a sales role with a proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships
- Comfortable navigating multiple systems, including CRM tools, chat, email, and Microsoft Office
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with confidence in outbound follow-up
- Openness to feedback and ability to apply coaching to improve performance
- Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a structured, virtual call center environment

Job Duties
- Serve as a trusted travel advisor by providing personalized vacation recommendations
- Build new customer relationships through inbound calls approximately 1-2 per hour
- Process new reservations and manage changes accurately and efficiently
- Maintain and nurture leads through follow-up outreach and CRM updates
- Engage prospective customers through targeted campaigns and outbound communication
- Maintain engaging phone conversations with customers while navigating multiple systems efficiently
- Deliver exceptional service aligned with our Customer Connection methodology
- Consistently meet or exceed individual sales goals
- Participate in team meetings, coaching sessions, and ongoing training
