Job Description

World Travel Holdings is the nation’s largest cruise agency and a highly respected leisure travel company with nearly 40 distinctive travel brands under its umbrella. Headquartered in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, this award-winning organization has built a reputation for delivering exceptional travel services and personalized vacation experiences to customers across the United States. World Travel Holdings prides itself on a people-focused culture that values employee engagement and embraces the flexibility of remote work environments. The company has been a pioneer in remote employment, ensuring its workforce is supported with the technology and training needed to succeed while working from home.

The role of a Travel Sales Agent at World Travel Holdings is an exciting opportunity for motivated individuals passionate about travel and sales. This remote position allows agents to work from the comfort of their own homes while engaging with customers to create meaningful vacation experiences. With a strong emphasis on relationship-building, agents serve as trusted travel advisors who provide personalized vacation recommendations that align with the unique interests and budgets of clients. Travel Sales Agents deal primarily with inbound calls, handling about one to two calls per hour, and they are expected to nurture leads, follow up with prospective customers, and maintain up-to-date information in the company’s CRM system.

This role offers a performance-driven work environment where agents have clear sales targets and opportunities to exceed goals. The position requires technical acumen to navigate multiple software systems efficiently, including CRM platforms, chat, email, and Microsoft Office. Additionally, strong communication skills are essential as agents must engage in phone conversations that are both professional and friendly while multitasking across different applications.

World Travel Holdings supports its Travel Sales Agents with comprehensive training lasting six weeks, conducted Monday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM Eastern Standard Time. Upon completion of training, agents transition to assigned shifts, which may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and non-consecutive days off, with scheduling flexibility offered through quarterly shift bids. The company's compensation model provides paid training at $15 per hour and an earning potential with an average first-year income of approximately $40,000, combining base pay and incentive-based earnings.

As a Travel Sales Agent, individuals are not only advancing their careers in a dynamic remote travel sales environment but are also benefiting from a robust package of employee benefits. These benefits include comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage; company-paid life and disability insurance; a 401(k) plan with discretionary matching; paid time off and holidays; travel discounts; employee assistance programs; and ongoing professional development opportunities. World Travel Holdings also fosters an inclusive and diverse workplace, committed to equal opportunity employment.

Joining World Travel Holdings as a Travel Sales Agent means becoming part of a nationally recognized leader in the travel industry. The company’s dedication to customer satisfaction combined with a supportive work culture empowers agents to build rewarding careers by helping customers turn their travel dreams into reality.
