MedPro Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Travel Nurse Registered Nurse (RN) Care Manager for a 13-week travel assignment in San Antonio, Texas. This role is ideal for nurses who have a passion for case management and thrive in a dynamic healthcare environment. The assignment starts on June 1, 2026, and requires a commitment of 40 hours per week, working nine-hour day shifts. As a Care Manager RN, the main responsibility is to coordinate continuity of care for patients, acting as a vital liaison between the patient’s family and healthcare organization. This role necessitates a strategic approach to patient care management, striving to promote self-managed care and efficient utilization of healthcare resources in a cost-effective manner. The RN Care Manager is instrumental in ensuring that patients receive timely and appropriate treatments aimed at maximizing their health and well-being.

Job Requirements

  • Active RN license
  • Degree from accredited nursing program
  • Eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care case manager setting
  • BLS certification
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Willingness to work 40 hours per week on 9-hour day shifts
  • Eligibility to work as a travel nurse in the United States

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
