The opportunity presented is for a Travel Physical Therapist role based in Salinas, California, through a skilled nursing facility located within Monterey County. This Travel Physical Therapist position provides an excellent opportunity to work a 40-hour week across 13 weeks, with the shift schedule typically eight hours per day. Shift preferences generally fall Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday, providing some flexibility in work-life balance. The role entails evaluating and treating skilled nursing facility patients by designing and implementing individualized treatment plans focused on improving mobility, strength, and overall functional independence. An active Physical Therapist license in California is mandatory for candidates. While prior SNF experience is preferred, mentorship is available to support less experienced therapists.
