Job Description

Stability Healthcare is a leading travel nursing agency founded in 2009 with the mission of becoming the best Travel Nursing Agency in California. Over the years, it has established itself as one of the top agencies in the industry, recognized for providing the highest paying travel nursing jobs available. Stability Healthcare offers a wide variety of travel assignments across thousands of healthcare facilities nationwide, enabling healthcare professionals to work in some of the best hospitals and health systems in the country. This expansive network allows travel nurses to experience diverse regions and climates—from starting the year in sunny California, enjoying spring in the Colorado Rockies, spending summer in the Midwest, experiencing the changing seasons in Boston and New York, to ending the year on the beaches of Florida. Stability Healthcare prides itself on matching healthcare professionals with assignments that fit their preferences and career goals, ensuring excellent support throughout their contracts, competitive pay packages, and comprehensive benefits from day one.

The current opportunity available at Stability Healthcare is for a Travel Echo Technologist position based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This is a travel contract role lasting for 13 weeks, requiring 40 hours per week with 8-hour day shifts. As an allied health professional specializing in echocardiography, the Echo Technologist will play a critical role in cardiac care diagnostic services. Echo Technologists, also known as Cardiac Sonographers, use ultrasound devices and other imaging tools that utilize sound waves to create detailed images of the heart. These images allow healthcare providers to inspect the heart chambers, walls, and valves to diagnose various cardiac conditions accurately. The role demands experience and precision, as the Echo Technologist supports cardiologists and other medical staff in monitoring heart health and planning patient treatments.

Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in echocardiography or similar roles to qualify for this position. Stability Healthcare offers an attractive pay package based on an 8-hour shift and 40-hour workweek, which includes a $600 travel bonus and a tax-free stipend amount determined per assignment. Benefits begin on day one with health insurance coverage through United Healthcare, a paid time off (PTO) plan that accrues from the start of the contract and can be used during the assignment or cashed out at the end. Employees are also guaranteed a stipend if called off by the facility and can earn extra bonuses for working over their contracted hours. This role allows travel healthcare professionals to gain valuable experience while enjoying competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits, all arranged by a reputable and supportive agency known for its dedication to quality and employee satisfaction.
