Job Requirements

  • valid registered nurse (rn) license
  • minimum of 1 year operating room nursing experience
  • ability to work 40 hours per week on day shifts
  • availability to begin assignment on 08/18/2026
  • ability to pass background check and drug screening
  • willingness to travel and adapt to assignment location
  • compliance with facility policies and procedures

Job Qualifications

  • registered nurse (rn) licensure in the relevant state or compact license
  • proven experience in operating room nursing
  • knowledge of surgical procedures and aseptic techniques
  • ability to work effectively in fast-paced surgical environments
  • strong communication and teamwork skills
  • certification in basic life support (bls) and advanced cardiovascular life support (acls) preferred

Job Duties

  • prepare operating rooms for surgery including arranging instruments and equipment
  • monitor patients during surgery to ensure safety and proper functioning of anesthesia
  • assist surgeons and surgical staff during procedures by providing necessary instruments and supplies
  • maintain sterile field and infection control standards
  • document all surgical actions and patient information accurately
  • coordinate with surgical team members to ensure smooth workflow
  • provide preoperative and postoperative care and education to patients as needed
