Job Description

Anders Group is a reputable healthcare staffing agency that has been serving the medical community since its founding in 2010. Renowned for its commitment to quality placements and personalized service, Anders Group stands out by putting people before numbers. As a Joint Commission-accredited agency, Anders Group adheres to rigorous industry standards to ensure that both healthcare professionals and patient care units benefit from exceptional matches. Their approach is not only focused on volume but heavily emphasizes relationships, ongoing support, and professional growth for traveling healthcare workers. Anders Group's core value is treating its travelers as partners rather than mere placements, providing an environment where nurses and allied health workers can thrive both professionally and personally.

The role of a Travel Nurse Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Oncology offers a unique opportunity to work in Santa Rosa, California, specifically at Providence Santa Rosa Medical Oncology and Radiation Oncology departments. This position spans 13 weeks, with an expected start date on June 1, 2026, and entails working 40 hours per week. Shifts are typically scheduled for 8 hours during daytime hours, providing a balanced structure conducive to work-life integration. The employment type is travel, offering nurses the chance to experience new locations while delivering specialized oncology care. The pay package is based on the assumption of 8-hour shifts and 40-hour work weeks, with tax-free stipend amounts yet to be finalized. This role contributes directly to improving patient outcomes in the oncology field by supporting medical and radiation oncology teams through expert nursing care.

Travel nurses working with Anders Group benefit from a comprehensive and supportive benefits package designed to enhance their career and lifestyle. From day one, health insurance with buy-up options is offered alongside dental and vision insurance to ensure well-rounded medical coverage. Life insurance provides peace of mind for travelers and their families. A robust 401(k) retirement plan supports long-term financial planning. Competitive pay packages and premium pay for travel assignments reward nurses for their crucial contributions. Moreover, Anders Group assists with licensure fees and continuing education units (CEUs) reimbursement, helping nurses maintain and advance their qualifications. Daily per diems and travel reimbursements offset living and commuting costs, while rental car allowances offer additional logistical support. Continuing education resources and referral bonuses further enhance the employment experience, making Anders Group a leader in healthcare travel staffing.

Choosing Anders Group as a travel nurse specialist in oncology means joining a well-established organization dedicated to personalized support. They provide tailored staffing solutions by aligning nurse goals with healthcare facility needs nationwide, ensuring that assignments truly fit both professional ambitions and personal preferences. This role not only advances your nursing career but also allows you to make a meaningful impact on the lives of cancer patients in a dynamic healthcare environment.
