Job Requirements
- Licensed as a registered nurse
- Minimum of one year experience in hematology and oncology nursing
- Ability to commit to a 13-week travel assignment
- Willingness to work 8-hour day shifts
- Ability to relocate to Santa Rosa, California for the duration
- Compliance with all healthcare facility regulations
- Physical ability to provide patient care
Job Qualifications
- Valid RN license
- Experience in hematology and oncology nursing
- Strong clinical assessment skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach
- Knowledge of cancer treatments and protocols
Job Duties
- Provide compassionate nursing care to oncology patients
- Administer medications and treatments specific to hematology and oncology
- Monitor patient health and document changes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Educate patients and families about disease processes and care plans
- Manage side effects and symptoms related to cancer treatments
- Maintain accurate patient records and comply with safety standards
