This contract position offers a competitive weekly pay rate ranging from $2,535 to $2,692, with a schedule of four 10-hour day shifts per week over a 13-week period, beginning August 3, 2026. The role involves providing exceptional nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia following surgical procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort during the critical postoperative period. The successful candidate will join a dynamic, compassionate team dedicated to optimal patient care and working within a supportive and engaging hospital environment.
The facility itself is a well-established regional hospital in Bakersfield, offering a comprehensive range of medical services with a capacity of 426 beds. Its specialties include cardiovascular programs, family care, and neonatal units, among others.
Bakersfield is known not only for its medical services but also as a vibrant community surrounded by picturesque mountain ranges and the Kern River.
