Job Requirements
- Active RN license in the state of California
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in oncology
- Ability to work 5 days a week, 8-hour day shifts
- Must be available for a 13-week contract beginning May 25, 2026
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screening
- Willingness to travel and relocate temporarily
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of nursing care
Job Qualifications
- Valid RN license
- Certification in oncology nursing preferred
- Prior experience in oncology nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Job Duties
- Provide direct patient care to oncology patients
- Administer chemotherapy and other oncology-related treatments
- Monitor patient vitals and response to treatment
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
- Educate patients and families about disease processes and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
- Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
