Job Requirements

  • Active RN license in the state of California
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in oncology
  • Ability to work 5 days a week, 8-hour day shifts
  • Must be available for a 13-week contract beginning May 25, 2026
  • Ability to pass background checks and drug screening
  • Willingness to travel and relocate temporarily
  • Physical stamina to handle the demands of nursing care

Job Qualifications

  • Valid RN license
  • Certification in oncology nursing preferred
  • Prior experience in oncology nursing
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Job Duties

  • Provide direct patient care to oncology patients
  • Administer chemotherapy and other oncology-related treatments
  • Monitor patient vitals and response to treatment
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Educate patients and families about disease processes and treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
  • Ensure compliance with infection control and safety protocols
