Job Requirements

  • Registered nurse (RN) license required
  • Minimum of 3 years nursing experience
  • Prior management experience in nursing preferred
  • Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
  • Availability to start as soon as possible
  • Willingness to work 36 hours per week during 16-week assignment
  • Must be eligible for travel nursing employment in California

Job Qualifications

  • Registered nurse (RN) license
  • Proven experience in nurse management or administrative nursing roles
  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations and patient care standards
  • Ability to work 12-hour night shifts
  • Experience in travel nursing preferred

Job Duties

  • Provide administrative-level leadership of nursing services to assigned unit or units
  • Make decisions regarding patient care, admissions, and unit staffing
  • Lead and direct a team of nurses and staff
  • Ensure unit operates safely and effectively
  • Act as liaison between nursing staff and hospital administration
  • Coordinate resources and workflows to optimize patient outcomes
  • Maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards
