Job Description

THP Healthcare Staffing is a reputable healthcare staffing agency committed to bridging the gap between healthcare facilities and highly trained travel nurses and allied health professionals. Specializing in the recruitment and placement of travel nursing talent across diverse geographic locations, THP Healthcare Staffing is dedicated to providing top-tier nursing professionals to medical institutions that require flexible, temporary support to maintain the highest standards of patient care. Their mission centers on ensuring healthcare providers have access to exceptional nursing talent wherever they are, enhancing patient outcomes through skilled and compassionate care.

The agency prides itself on its comprehensive understanding of the evolving healthcare landscape and the unique challenges faced by healthcare facilities today. By leveraging a vast network of qualified professionals, THP Healthcare Staffing brings together healthcare workers and institutions in need of travel nurses, fostering long-term partnerships founded on trust, reliability, and excellence in nursing.

The current opportunity at THP Healthcare Staffing is for a skilled and experienced Travel Nurse RN Manager to join a healthcare facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role offers a 13-week travel nursing assignment with 36 hours spread across 3 twelve-hour night shifts per week. As a travel staff nurse manager, the successful candidate will collaborate intimately with clinical teams, taking a leadership position to ensure that patient care standards are rigorously maintained throughout the shift.

This travel nursing role demands an individual who is both adaptable to new environments and a proven leader capable of managing nursing personnel effectively during their assignment. The RN Manager will oversee nursing staff performance, facilitate communication between nursing teams and hospital administration, and implement best practices to maintain smooth operational flow in the healthcare setting. Working night shifts underscores the importance of the RN Manager’s role in maintaining vigilance and supporting quality care during off-peak hours, which are often critical times in healthcare delivery.

THP Healthcare Staffing emphasizes a supportive work environment where nurses are valued for their expertise and dedication. For the travel nurse RN Manager position, candidates must hold current state licensure along with up-to-date BLS, ACLS, and/or specialty certifications to qualify. Additionally, fulfilling health and safety requirements such as recent physical exams, TB skin tests, immunization titers, respiratory fit tests, and vaccination records is essential for placement. The RN Manager must also successfully pass pre-employment screening including background and drug tests.

Benefits accompanying this role include competitive pay packages designed to reflect the demanding and specialized nature of the work. Nurses will also receive a comprehensive health benefit package, travel pay commencing with the first paycheck, bonuses for contract extensions, and incentives like referral rewards. THP Healthcare Staffing champions a philosophy of working alongside healthcare practitioners as partners, ensuring their needs are met comprehensively and with professionalism.

Overall, this role presents an excellent opportunity for registered nurses with managerial experience to expand their career horizons through travel nursing while making a meaningful impact on patient care in a dynamic hospital environment.
