Currently, Staffmax Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse Registered Nurse (RN) Manager for Long Term Care (LTC) in Albuquerque, New Mexico. This is a 12-week travel nursing assignment designed to provide leadership and management within a long term care setting. The RN Manager will work full-time, 40 hours per week, during standard day shifts of 8 hours from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. This travel position offers healthcare professionals the opportunity to gain diverse experience while providing critical support to nursing teams during the assignment period.

In this role, the RN Manager will oversee the daily nursing operations of the LTC facility, ensuring the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care. This leadership role includes supervising nursing staff, coordinating workflow, staffing and scheduling, and promoting adherence to regulatory and patient safety standards. The RN Manager will also be responsible for mentoring clinical staff and supporting their ongoing professional development. Collaborating closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams, the RN Manager helps to optimize patient outcomes and improve operational efficiency within the facility.

Ideal candidates for this role possess demonstrated nursing leadership or management experience alongside strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. They must excel in effective communication, leadership, and conflict resolution, able to foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and respects diversity. Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems is preferred to facilitate seamless documentation and coordination of patient care.
