Job Qualifications

Registered nurse licensure in the state of assignment
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a cath lab or cardiac nursing environment
Strong clinical knowledge of cardiac catheterization procedures and equipment
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-stress environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
BLS and ACLS certification
Ability to respond quickly to patient needs and emergency situations

Job Duties

Conduct cardiac catheterization procedures and assist with diagnostic imaging
Monitor patients during invasive cardiac procedures and respond to emergencies
Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare team members to deliver excellent patient care
Prepare and maintain cath lab equipment and supplies
Educate patients and families about cardiac procedures and post-operative care
Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records
Ensure compliance with safety and infection control standards in the cath lab
