Job Description
Stability Healthcare is a premier travel nursing agency founded in 2009 with a mission to provide the best travel nursing opportunities in the United States. Over the years, Stability Healthcare has earned a reputation as one of the top travel nursing agencies, known for offering highly competitive pay packages and access to desirable nursing assignments across a wide array of healthcare facilities. The company uniquely enables nurses to explore and experience diverse parts of the country while advancing their professional careers. Imagine starting the year in sunny California, moving to the Colorado Rockies in spring, enjoying the Mid-West during summer, experiencing the vibrant fall seasons in Boston or New York, and spending winters on Florida's beaches. This flexibility and wide geographic reach empower travel nurses to enjoy both rich professional and personal experiences.
Stability Healthcare emphasizes supporting its nurses not just professionally but also personally by providing day one health insurance, PTO plans, and additional financial benefits including travel bonuses and stipends. The agency partners with thousands of top-ranked hospitals and health systems, which ensures its nursing professionals are placed in environments committed to patient care excellence and cutting-edge medical practices.
We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Travel Nurse RN specializing in Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) to join our team for a contract position based in Seattle, Washington. This role is perfect for a registered nurse with a passion for caring for critically ill or premature newborns, who thrives in fast-paced and highly sensitive care environments. The contract is a 13-week travel position starting on August 10, 2026, requiring 36 hours per week, typically scheduled in 12-hour night shifts.
As a NICU Travel Nurse with Stability Healthcare, you will be entrusted with providing essential and highly specialized care to vulnerable neonatal patients alongside a team of healthcare professionals committed to improving newborn health outcomes. Your expertise and empathetic approach will be critical in supporting not only the infants under your care but also the families navigating the complexities of neonatal intensive care.
This position offers numerous benefits such as a $600 travel bonus, health insurance starting from day one through United Healthcare, and the ability to accrue and utilize paid time off during the contract. In addition, a guaranteed stipend protects you if the facility calls you off, and an extra hour bonus rewards overtime work beyond your contracted schedule. The compensation is structured with tax-free stipends applied, designed to acknowledge and support your dedication and flexibility.
The role of NICU RN is one of the most rewarding and demanding nursing specialties, requiring advanced knowledge, technical expertise, and a high level of emotional resilience. Working with delicate neonatal patients involves monitoring vital signs, administering medications, supporting neonatal surgeries, and collaborating closely with neonatologists and pediatric specialists to deliver care plans tailored to the infant’s unique health needs. Through your commitment, you will make a significant difference in the lives of newborns and their families during some of their most critical moments.
Join Stability Healthcare, where your nursing skills meet opportunity, adventure, and professional growth, while you receive comprehensive support and competitive benefits. By stepping into this travel nurse role in Seattle, you not only advance your career as a trusted NICU RN but also become a vital part of a compassionate healthcare community dedicated to the highest standards of neonatal care.
