Job Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum one year labor and delivery nursing experience
  • Ability to work 36 hours per week on night shifts
  • Willingness to relocate temporarily to Elk Grove Village, Illinois
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screening
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification
  • Willingness to comply with assignment duration of 13 weeks

Job Qualifications

  • Valid RN license in the state of Illinois or compact nursing license
  • Minimum of one year experience in labor and delivery nursing
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work night shifts and adapt to travel requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • BLS and ACLS certification
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Job Duties

  • Provide direct patient care in labor and delivery settings
  • Monitor and assist laboring mothers through childbirth
  • Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and other healthcare professionals
  • Educate patients and families regarding labor and postpartum care
  • Document patient care accurately and timely
  • Manage emergency situations during labor
  • Comply with hospital policies, safety regulations, and nursing standards
