Job Requirements
- minimum of one year experience as an MRI technologist
- current basic life support (bls) certification
- valid arrrt or armrit certification
- ability to work night shifts (11 p.m. to 9 a.m.), four days per week
- covid-19 vaccination compliance
- ability to travel and relocate for assignments at least 50 miles from permanent address
Job Qualifications
- bachelor's degree in radiologic technology or related field preferred
- arrrt (american registered radiologic technologist) or armrit certification required
- basic life support (bls) certification required
- minimum of one year experience as an MRI technologist
- familiarity with epic electronic medical records system preferred
- experience with picture archiving and communication system (pacs) and powerscribe software preferred
Job Duties
- perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures using MRI equipment
- ensure patient safety and comfort during MRI scans
- collaborate with medical team members to deliver accurate diagnostic imaging
- maintain and prepare MRI equipment for daily use
- adhere to safety protocols and regulatory requirements related to MRI technology
- document imaging results accurately using Epic, PACS, and Powerscribe systems
- comply with all healthcare and hospital policies including COVID-19 vaccination mandates
